Google AdSense is a program designed by Google to allow content publishers earn money by advertising through their website. Here’s how it works: You have some empty space on your website, so you put a Google Ad there. Then, whenever your visitors are exposed to the ad, you can receive a small amount of money. The more visitors you get, the more money you can make through Google AdSense. To start monetizing your site through Google AdSense, you need to create an account.

Getting started First thing that you will have to do is head over to the Google AdSense homepage. You can get there by clicking here. Once on the homepage, you will need to click the button to ‘Get Started’. You can find this in the top-right corner, or in the middle of the page. In order to sign up, we’ve got to enter some information on this page.
If you use ‘SSL’ for your website, you should enter in ‘https://’ before your URL. Once you are done on this page, click ‘Save and Continue’, and move on to the next page. You just have to verify some information to make sure it’s correct, fill out your country, and accept the terms. When you are done, click ‘Create Account’. Filling out more information Just what you love, right? Click ‘Get Started’ on the popup that appears. On this page you will fill out your account type and address information. Once done, click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page. Connecting your AdSense account to your Ninth Digital Website Connectting Google AdSense is extremely easy using a Ninth Digital Website. All you have to do is get your Google Data Ad Client ID, an account wide, 16-digit number. You can get this number in a couple of places, but the easiest way is to get it from the page that we are currently on. You will see a list of steps, and a box with some code in it. You can ignore some of these steps because Ninth Digital does them automatically for you. The code will look like this:
<script data-ad-client="ca-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>
For you, there should be a number where the ‘XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX’ is in my above code. That’s the data ad client ID. Copy that number. Go into your ‘Settings’ page on Ninth Digital. From the ‘Details’ tab, go to ‘Extras’, find Google Data Ad Client on the form, and paste your ID. Click ‘Update settings’, and that’s it! You’re ready to finish the process. Connecting your AdSense account to your own website You can connect your new AdSense account to your own website in a few steps. On this page, you will see a box with some code inside. Copy all of the code. Next, you will need to paste this code in the ‘<head>’ on every page that you want to show an AdSense ad on. Like this:
application.html
<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <script data-ad-client="ca-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script> </head> </html>
Finishing up the process Once you’ve got the code pasted on your website, you can click ‘I've pasted the code into my site’, and then click ‘Done’. Google will check your site for the code. If it’s there, you’ll get a message stating ‘The code was found’. If Google found your code, you are all set for now. The ball is in their court. Google can take up anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks to finish activating your account, but they will email you when everything is ready.
